  • To Sabotage Opponent's Training

Tonya Harding hired a man to interfere with her competitor Nancy Kerrigan's chances to compete on an equal level, and Floyd also tried to sabotage Canelo's training before their fight in 2013. Floyd paid two of Canelo's sparring partners to leave his camp and Canelo was stranded in Big Bear with only one sparring partner. This slimy move to interfere with another fighter's training camp is crossing the line. Imagine Super Bowl being decided because one team's training was sabotaged by the other team.

Is this behavior new to sports, or are there other incidents in boxing or other sports where training has been sabotaged in a similar way?

why are you trying to compare crimes and cheating with capitalism? How is training sabotaged if a sparring partner doesn't make it to camp?

You simply hire other sparring partners.

Do you know any other incident in sports where one side has tried to sabotage the other side's training?

Would you find it acceptable if one team in the Super Bowl sabotaged the other team's training? Why? Or Why not?

What else do you expect from a coward who hits his wife infront of his children.

Hood rats will be hood rats.

It happen before in boxing I guess, after all it is a prize fighting. A lot of
money are involve so it's not impossible one of the fighter and his team, or both will try to get an edge by sabotaging ones training.

The Patriots are known by many to steal the other teams play calling especially the opposing teams defensive play calls. The deflated footballs that was an issue against the Colts, true or not, it's there in the news and people pick it up and ran away with it. So, sabotaging ones team training, play callings, or using a deflated balls to get an edge is not common, but it happens.

Baseball team used to send spies on their opponents Team practice, they even have lips reader to pick up play calling of the other team, hence you see those coaches and trainers do hand signals. Same thing with football.
