jackson does everything better than abraham. i know theres a myth he had a bad chin bcuz he got knocked out several times late in his career when he was washed up. but anyone who followed his career and studied him when he was at his best rather than just watched three of his fights and reading his boxrec page, they know he had an iron chin in his prime.

if you take enough shots even the best chin will start giving out late in your career, just look at mayorga or vargas.

he had good defense too when he chose to box, he was just one of those guys who didnt mind taking a few unnecessary shots to put on a good show. even when there was an easier way to win.

jackson was on top of the world for nearly a decade. the man was like 47-1 (45) at one point with his only loss being to atg mike mccallum. abraham meanwhile has been badly exposed as a slow, straight forward, weak skilled, low intelligence brawler. whos only real tool aside from his power is a clever promoter.

jackson is on another level from this dude, he would end him.

abraham barely even has a punchers chance since hes a slow starter, cant counterpunch for **** and jackson would jump on him (and hurt him) from the first bell. no way his slow, wide swings would find jacksons chin. jackson had fast hands and was a good combination and body puncher. he would find holes in abrahams guard and leave him with a hole in his head twitching on the floor.

    the hawk KO3
Jackson is one of the best offensive fighters in history but this is an awful style matchup for the simple fact that

    Abraham's punches on Jackson's chin>Jackson's punches on Abraham's chin

first of all your wrong, jacksons chin was just as good as abrahams and hes a significantly better puncher.

alot of mainstream fans think jackson had a bad chin bcuz he got KOd a bunch of times when he was completely washed up, by that logic mayorga and vargas had bad chins too, and RJJ and mosley were complete bums. in his prime jacksons had an iron chin.

regardless thats not what truly matters. when you have two big punchers you dont look at who hits slightly harder or even who can take a better punch, you look at who can land that big punch, or more importantly who can avoid it.

abrahams plodding style and poor boxing ability wouldnt be enough, his wide, slow punches would never land on jackson. he would walk forward ina straight line and jackson could either keep him at the end of his jab and outbox him or let his hads go and force him to cover up. abrahams lack of counterpunching ability would give him no chance to retaliate once julain let his hands go.

and putting your hands on your temples and just covering up wont get you any further than the trip to the cavas against a fighter like JJ. his handspeed, accuracy, punch variety, body and combination punching would completely overwhelm abrahams defense who we all know would just cover up when jackson attacked him.

its a terrible stylistic matchup alright, for abraham. and thats ignoring the fact that jackson was a completely diffrent caliber of fighter.

1st of all I agree that Jackson is much higher caliber fighter but styles make fights. You are blind if you think Jackson has anything but a shaky chin or that Abraham doesn't have a rock solid chin.

When did Jackson ever display an iron chin ?, his odd style of falling into his punches also meant he'd be moving into his opponents punches whenever he threw and taking more damage then he probably should of, a sacrifice too have such a beat of an offense sure but it caused him too be wobbled quite a few times, his chin wasn't 'that' bad but it was not close too being iron.
