James Toney - Never stopped in 80 professional fights against opponents from 160lbs all the way up to 260lbs. Toney also fought all his opponents toe-to-toe regardless of weight. Only real knockdown was against Reggie Johnson with Toney getting up to win the fight convincingly. Even when Toney was weight drained against Thadzi and Jones they still couldn't knock him out. One tough cookie.
Micky Ward - This guy's chin is made of titanium. Gatti threw eveything but the kitchen sink on Ward's chin and Ward was telling him to give some more. Imagine throwing your hardest punches on your opponents chin and he wouldn't budge? Very tough.
Arturo Gatti - Gotta give the man a mention cos the amount of punishment he took in the ninth round in first Ward fight was unbelievable. Any lesser fighter would have quit with that body shot. The way Arturo absorbed all those Ward power shots after taking that vicious left to the body. But not Arturo.
Jake La Motta - The Raging Bull is credited with having the best chin in boxing history. Had 5 wars with Robinson who was flattening his opponents left, right and centre and took everything Robinson threw at him. One tough S.O.B.
Beau Jack - Will never forget the amount of punishment he took from Ike Williams. This kind of punishment would have murdered most. For Jack to be standing or kinda leaning on ropes immediately tells you that he's got a chin that's industrial strength.
Harry Greb - One of the best chins in Boxing history winning Titles from Middleweight to Heavyweight. Never stopped in over a staggering 300 pro fights. He could probably absorb a baseball bat on the chin and break out a smile after taking the hit.
Muhammad Ali - One of the best chins in Boxing History. Got in there with the big boys at Heavyweight and took some massive shots with George Foreman and Sonny Liston two that stand out. At his peak Ali's chin was granite-like.
