Hitler had the potential to have been a great leader* ... but he was mentally unstable, evil and had no regard for human life.
*Hitler turned Germany completely around economically and Militarily, bringing Germany from the brink of poverty and despair -- In that regard he was great for Germany.
Beneficial on one side --- Totally evil on the other.

Judaism declared war on germany first. Long before Hitler became the undisputed leader of Germany and began restricting the rights of German Jews, the American Jewish Congress announced a massive protest at Madison Square Garden and called for an American boycott of German goods.
"Hitler will emerge from the hatred that surrounds him now as one of the most significant figures who ever lived... he had a mystery about him in the way that he lived and in the manner of his death that will live and grow after him. He had in him the stuff of which legends are made."
John F. Kennedy, US President.Last edited by Darkstar; 02-27-2012, 10:20 PM.

Edit: Throughout the 1930s, Rabbi Wise, a dedicated liberal, was vocal in his warnings about the dangers of Nazism. When Adolf Hitler was named chancellor of Germany on January 30, 1933, Wise organized a mass protest rally at Madison Square Garden, in New York City. He accomplished this despite the opposition of the German government, the U.S. State Department, and conservative Jewish organizations. The American Jewish Congress continued to organize protest rallies throughout the 1930s and 1940s.
