  • How is the local Hip-Hop scene in your city?

St.Louis is a black hole, so much talent drowned by hate.
So many artists focused on the next man they ruin possible opportunities for themselves.
This is the main reason it’s hard to move forward or help others out.

Those who don’t know me, I’m Micka Mex.
Rapper, producer, video editor, filmmaker etc.
I try to get involved with as much as I possibly can.
Lately, I about abandoned the job I was at for 5 years simply cause I don’t want to let time go by & end up never using the somewhat talent I have.
Anyway, a lil over a year ago I decided to start my independent film company, Dream 17 Films.
I mention that because that’s the main tool I will be using to change the hip hop scene in my city.

I’m reaching out to as many arrogant, selfish, inconsiderate rappers & letting them know it’s time to change the movement to a positive one.
It’ll start by putting a quality image behind their music.

The first artist I’m working with goes by, Nuff Said.
& one of the reasons behind this thread is to share a video I recently had the honor of directing.

    Nuff Said | Year 6

If you have some time, check it out & of course any feedback is welcomed.

    But most importantly,
how is the local hip hop scene in your city?
