I was watching this special on Marijuana that Al Roker was reporting on and he was talking to a guy that said legalizing marijuana would servely hurt the mexican drug cartels. Because it's what they make most of their money on and it helps pay for their other drug involvements, like cocaine, heroine, and meth. So instead of those cartels benefiting from our weed smoking here in the states, we should benefit from it. They were saying that if we taxed and regulated it as much as 2 billion dollars a year could be made in the state of california alone.

i really dont understand how it isnt legal right now, unlike alcohol and tobacco, weed has been proven to have some medical use. its a win win really, you can tax weed and reduce the number of non violent offenders in prison. you can create jobs too...

over 90% of all drug users soley smoke pot and nothing else. With the total cost of the "war on drugs" costing 300 plus billion per yr, a 90% decrease in that expenditure would be: 30 billion per year and revenue could be generated from legal pot sales leading to jobs at distribution centers, billions from sales and mitigating the effects of illegal drug sales and freeing millions incarcerated for petty weed sales charges.

yeah, i can vouch for the bc weed, its the best ive ever had. we(10 of us) bought a pound for 1300 dollars when we spent a summer there.

B.C. Bud is definitely the best in North America. The best I've ever had was Thai weed. That **** smells like chocolate and tastes even better. And oh yeah, it only takes 1 hit...
