Again let me stress the word "ELITE".

So you can take Pascal, Pavlik, Johnson, and Tarver off that list. I'll give you Trinidad and Hoya, you can make a case for those names.
Agreed, it's just tough because most of the time people are going to associate a fighters prime with their best weight, neither of which Hoya or Tito were at against Hopkins, but I absolutely agree the case can be made.

B.Hop beat more ELITE fighters in their PRIMES than BOTH of them COMBINED!!!...do the math!!
Barrera and Morales had only fought twice before Pacquiao destroyed Barrera, and MAB was still prime.

And Hopkins never beat ONE fighter better than Barrera or Marquez. So saying he beat more elite prime fighters than both Pacquiao and Mayweather is outright ridiculous. Because to say that, you would have to count the type of fighters you are completely dismissing for Pacquiao and Mayweather.

b-b-but they made him come down 1 pound from his last fight ........

Lol this thread makes me laugh, anyway both only probably have one elite prime fighter on their resume, the rest is a fighter either weight drained, jumping up in weight, going to prison, war torn or inactive/injured over a long period.

Shane Mosley was in his prime when Pac beat him.

Arum claimed that Pac and Mosley would fight toe to toe, and that Mosley was gonna be better than ever, they even boosted up the fight by showing clips of Shane back in the 90's when he was undefeated.
