He said I'll knock you out over the phone. We've all been there, threatening bodily harm when we get off our hinges, but in most cases we don't act on our threats. There was NO EVIDENCE that he grabbed her round the throat. He's been suspended based on her allegations and that's what wrong with the justice system. A woman can say her partner hit her, with no physical proof, and still have her day in court. All this guy wanted was to get in his flat and get his possessions, and she was probably being a b1tch about it.

I admit the legal system is bias in favor of women. Knowing this he should have requested a police escort to get his belongings. His conviction was based on him being heard on the 999 (911) recording threatening her. That did him in. And you are correct if a women says a man hit he, most likely he is going to jail. Protect yourself fellas, don't put yourself in a negative situation. It may cost you your freedom.

He didn't say it over the phone, he was heard saying it over the phone by the 999 operator she called. Yeah we all go OTT with words sometimes that alone is not deserving of prison time, but on the bright side him being locked up is good news for the health of all Hungarian journeymen in his weight division.

This is a guy with a padded record, doesn't have the balls to face a legit challenge as a boxer (pro since 2007) and has to intimidate a stripper because she didn't want to move to Swindon. Maybe he can have some fights in prison and get a career best win.
