my p4 was from 05 as well?



**** was very loud and very slow... had to run one app at a time, it would go ape**** otherwise lolz



but yeah just got my new comp today and its literally 10-15 times faster

if i remember correctly, i think i7 is quadcore native with hyperthreading (hyperthreading additional 4 threads so 8 in total)

It is a quadcore processor, from Intel themselves.
