College is for networking..networking can be done without College..

Becoming rich is IMPOSSIBLE with no drive, hard work and dedication...unless you hit the lotto or win a lawsuit of course..

Most people aren't wealthy because they always want to come up with a get-rich-quick scheme or sit on their ass waiting for a HUGE MONEY opportunity to come slap them in the face..

Work hard at what you want to do...it'll pay off..

      Edit*

And remember "It's not what you know..It's WHO you know"

        Yeah it's very possible.

My dad is not rich but he lives comfortably with his own business making 65-70k a year. Last grade he did was 8th grade. He started off with $5000 dollars. He's very proud of his business. Every time he's drunk he always ponders on his poor days and starts talking to me about how proud he is he didn't have to sell drugs like his friends and how I should join him. Blah blah blah. Lol. I will join in some day but I want my college degree in science engineering first.

Probably the best advice you could give, though dumb luck plays a part in many things revolving around personal success I think.

Sometimes ppl just have to be fortunate enough to be at the right place at the right time to maybe meet the right person so they can get the opportunity which they need to put hard work and dedication into once they get it.

It is a quality post. All these guys had brilliant ideas. If you have one go for it.

I think it's balls and lack of fear that have propelled my rich friends to success as well as some luck.

Most people I know that make a lot, they had this lack of fear, that their more educated friends didn't have.

I don't know many that had a lack of fear and a very high education level but it is very possible.

The bottom line is they all had good ideas that they were willing to do anything to execute.

My friend, who has a grade 10 education, has gone from nothing to pretty much being a millionaire in about 5 years. All due to the flooring business he started. In our home town, homes and buildings are popping up like mad. His business now has the inside track.

True..thing is you can't and shouldn't dwell on it..there's horrible luck like getting ran over by a car..and there's great luck like hitting a 1 in a billion chance lotto..and everything in between..

You have to know your **** and know it well...then make yourself available in every opportunity possible..and showcase some of your knowledge..enough to get the foot in..but less than the person you're trying to have get you in..never outshine a potential connect..envy is a *****..

Perseverance is the key to success..without it you'll end up with a lot of shoulda's, coulda's, woulda's...
