    This, along with David Lemieux's KO made for an entertaining night of boxing. Stevenson showed good stamina and a lot of chin.

          We already know that David can easily KO lesser opponents. So what do these types of fights do in preparing him to move up to the next level to be successful? Absolutely nothing that is what. I don't remember his name but is the trainer who stopped the Rubio fight no longer with him?

            Yep he and Russ Anber mutually parted ways. Russ was long frustrated that Lemieux never took training seriously and preferred to party it up. He even once got Lemieux to train with Sergio Martinez during a camp hoping to instill some professional work ethic into him. It didn't take. Lemieux went home and Sergio hired Russ to be on his team.

            Now Lemieux's former co-trainer is his full time trainer
