Good performance by Quigg but the fight was one round to long against that level of opposition. Should have finished in DosRounds!

Gavin has gone up in my estimation by several notches.....encouraging to see him riding out a couple of hard moments and interesting to see that he's managed to keep his speed, timing and good fight-management whilst being able to meet a bit of fire-with-fire. He's beginning to come good after than a less than stellar start to his career.

Gavin seems to ooze class. He also seems to be growing into the weight with each fight, I think the time is right to progress to the next level, as he could easily fight for a world title in a few fights time.

Who does everyone think he should fight next??

...would like Gavin to have at least one more nasty, gritty domestic level tussle/test against another operator who needs to win and is going to go for broke to give Frankie a real fight.

Guessing that Lee Purdy is probably off the menu until 2014 after his spanking but maybe Matthew Hatton would be a good road test; brings lots of pressure, fitness and a belief that he can win.

Would be good to see Gavin forced to have another trial against a domestic hardnut before he targets European honours and becomes a fully-fledged title contender.
