Why would Morales wanna go back down in weight? All the big money fights are at 147. Maidana Khan is still FOTY imo and would be a relatively big money fight (only because GBP doesn't know how to promote ****) and the winner of that can call out Khan, Bradley at 40 or Ortiz, Berto at 147.

Morales wants to fight the DeMarco vs Linares winner because that would mean fighting for his 5th-division world title, the Lightweight one. Not because he's scared of anybody. He stated right after the Cano fight that he'll go for 5, then Maidana.

duno if he is ducking a potential fight with Maidana or Bradley, to be honest he dont strike me as the kind of guy to duck but maybe he is smart enough to know there fights he just cant win at his age so is just gona go down in weight where he is more of a threat and can add more titles to his leggacy, but if he has to vacate his wbc ww title i dont no but if he dose it opens the door to some realy good fights, might even see Khan Maidana rematch or Maidana Bradley, realisticly Morales aint beating these guys although he could Knock out Khan but then again he is Khans perfect size he likes to fight.
