Chisora has had a long layoff now, and is still not officially scheduled.

7 months? He's trying to regain his British boxing license so he can fight on Warren's March bill.

An in shape chisora (vs. Vitali, Helenius) is a tough out for anyone, and with some fine tuning can definitely be a top 10 heavy.

Out of shape (Vs. Fury, and kindof against Haye(i was there guy had a gut)) he is top 20 maybe.

His style needs him to be in top physical shape, hes not going to be able to outbox guys and coast to easy victories. He needs Joe Frazier like fitness to carry out his come forward high pressure style.

Not sure Dereks "finished" but he is too similar to Danny Williams to have any proper faith in.

One day he can turn up in shape and surprise you with his efforts ( Vitali,Helenius) and next minute he could be turning up fat and lazy ( Haye and Fury )

You never know what youre going to get but if he was a world beater we'd know by now so whilst I expect him to stick around on the secen for afew more years he will usually appear in the opponents corner and his career path will follow that of Mayorga

no, he's not bad to watch and that's what HW needs most of all
he rightfully has a win over Helenius, thus a call for a rematch
and he spit right in Wlad's face when he fought Vit
hard to imagine Wlad won't offer him a shot to punish him at some point
he's not gonna be champion, but he'll remain a viable contender

Chisora is one of the few HW's actually worth watching. Hopefully he makes a meaningful comeback, his last year was tough in many ways. I still have expectations from him.

but let's be real, he beat Helenius up and everyone saw it, which is the reason why he got a title shot immediately after. given that opportunity, he subjected Vitali to his toughest fight in a long time. before that, he also dragged Fury into the trenches. and, even in bitter stoppage defeat, he made Haye fight hard and forced the best out of him. it's not like he's been getting embarrassingly annihilated or going out with a whimper in these fights.

Dereck's as legit as any contender. look who he's been fighting. Warren has been uncharacteristically bold in matching Chisora, it's not like he's been babying him and plotting a careful route to a title (and Dereck is more than capable of picking up a strap if he bides his time and picks his path). after only 19 fights, a quarter of his resume is composed of fellow young, rated contenders like himself and experienced vets who stop the majority of their opponents. Fury, Helenius, Vitali and Haye is as tough a run as anyone has had at HW in a while.

he has good skills and huge balls. he can come again, if his head and heart are working toward that goal together.

In fairness, outside of the Haye fight, he's been competitive.

He was a right fat load against Fury and in turn was pretty awful, but in all other fights he's been very competitive. He beat Helenius, gave Vitali a hard time and has won the rest of his fights. He's got more to offer than the likes of Arreola.

Maybe. Chisora-Arreola would be a good match-up actually.
