Cops firing shots on air would have gotten the group's attention but l don't know if they're allowed to to do that.

Maybe the cops should have shot at their feet while saying "Dance, town drunk! Dance!" and cackling to each other like a pair of villainous bandits in a spaghetti western.

ermm, there's nothing technically wrong with what the cops did, but i'm going to defend the noose.

knowing that they were outnumbered, the cops should have restrained from cuffing or physically disrupting the group without having the correct number of officers to alleviate the problem. being informed that the group had already been a part of public misconduct, the decision to apprehend the assailants was premature without an equal or more officers available to mitigate the situation.

Perfectly natural for Noose to assume that a situation where civilians were tazed, hit with batons and one shot and killed, could've been handled better by the police. But here you had an entire family of unintelligent whackos who assaulted a Walmart employee for trying to use the bathroom, attacked another employee in the parking lot and immediately attacked the police when they showed up to restore order.

Cops showed incredible restraint.Being black myself,and being stopped for moving violations,generally I've had that many officers show up,and they usually aren't as civil as they were with that family.

You do know that there aren't an infinite number of cops, right? Usually when officers attend a situation like this they may be outnumbered but the entire group doesn't tend to attack them.
