  • David Price returns on Saturday Jan 25

David Price vs. Konstantin Airich will be on BoxNation this coming Saturday.

I still believe David Price has potential and will re-establish himself as a contender this year.

Too bad he didn't have a proper promoter like Sauerland the past five years, he'd have done well. He wasn't getting in enough pro rounds, with his early round KO win every five months or so.

Price needs rounds but an early KO on Saturday will not be a bad thing. He just needs to get back to winning first and foremost.

Too early to say how his year will pan out. Changed promoter, changed trainer more than once. He needs some stability now and take it one fight at a time whilst being as active as possible.

Konstantin Airich failed his medical, so now journeyman Istvan Ruszinski will be Price's opponent.

Better for Price, he needs to step back and go slow at this point.

He should forget about the furys and the chisoras , he should fight in prizefighter , he might do well in that

Pointless fight, in my opinion. He looked so tentative and awkward throwing his jab against this can; his footwork is STILL a problem and was all over the place; and what was with the strange and ineffective guard/shoulder roll?

              Price just isn't world level.

David Price still may have a good future.

He needs to be much more active this year, hopefully he'll be appearing on as many Sauerland cards as possible in the months to come.

He's had a fight, worked with a new corner, heard the crowd again and got a win.....but that's basically the meagre list of positives exhausted.

When the guy facing you has been starched by Darch in a round....there's not much else to say. I am expecting Darch to get lifted clean-off his feet by Joshua when they meet soon; so the level of that fight David has just had firmly belongs to the bargain-bucket corner of Poundland.

Its a shame the other guy failed his medical; David needs rounds and something resembling a challenge. It is a pity the Sauerlands did not book Dorian first!!
