  • Bob Arum: Forget Manny/Mayweather how about Manny/Chavez?

Another candidate is superwelterweight Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. who’s itching to avenge the string of losses inflicted by Pacquiao on his Mexican countrymen.

Brushing aside Mayweather as a future opponent, Arum said Chavez is a more logical pick. “I’ll give you an even bigger fight, potentially, against Chavez,” Arum told reporters.

How the hell can Manny gain anything by beating Chavez Jr? Aside from another Mexican name on his record?

Chavez Jr hasn't even fought a single opponet worthy of note. And Pacquiao would probably beat him worse than he just beat Ricky.

Chavez is a joke...Arum better not be ****ing around. Chavez hasn't proven jack ****. He'll probably get owned by Pacman despite the big size advantage.
