I wish people would knock it off with the "height is everything" approach to handicapping a fight. Christ if that's the best you can do for a prediction just keep it to yourself.

Tyson Fury is an overrated lump of ****. I wouldn't be surprised if Boytsov came out and destroyed him the way Mike Mollo did Kevin McBride. Before you say "McBride sucks" I would point out that he was a 6-1 favorite at the time and everyone said the fight was a joke because McBride was 7 inches taller and 70 lbs heavier than his opponent.

Looks like Tyson Fury will be fighting Tony Grano on Dec 1/12.

It was always too good to be true.

Fury keeps calling out top 10 HWs; but, as soon as they accept, his camp (Hennessy) pull out or make a ridiculous demand.


On paper, this should be an easy win for Fury.

Yeah I was quite disappointed to hear this had fallen through. It was made just after there had been a couple of decent matchups made in the div. elsewhere. They say it's looking to be made early in 2013, so here's to hoping...

The rumored battle between the British Tyson Fury (19-0, 14 KOs) and the unbeaten heavyweight Denis Boytsov (31-0, 25 KOs) will not take place. The CEO of Universurm is apparently really disappointed, however, is acting in the best interests of his own fighter. "It's really a shame because it would have been a great fight. Two undefeated heavyweight hopes in a direct duel. Unfortunately, Denis is not in the shape to contest such an duel now. The bout could be placed in 2013," says Kluch.
