  • Non Secular Records of Jesus?

Why would anyone outside the Jewish or Christian faith take historical records of a Jesus of Nazareth? The Romans thought this man was crazy and outside of the believers everyone thought he was nuts. So why would someone take the time to record about the life of some guy who says he is the son of God?

This is to the people who demand non secular records of Jesus Christ.

Romans kept records for almost everything.
Simon the magician was one person who was just as popular as Jesus at the time, with many miracles attributed to him.

One would expect the Romans to reference a guy who was nuts but had a big following. In contrast to Jesus, John the Baptist's existence was quite well supported.
