  • ..The Best Latin Born Fighter, Ever...

Damn, there are a lot for me.

    Mexican:
    Salvador Sanchez (Too ****ing soon.)
    Ricardo Lopez (SOOO underrated.)
Julio Cesar Chavez (Overrated by some, but still had an incredible career.)
Marco Antonio Barrera (Will be more appreciated as the years go by.)
Erik Morales (Right there with Barrera.)
Roberto Duran (Half of him, anyway. Lol.)
Ruben Olivares (Overlooked when mentioning Mexican greats.)
    Miguel Canto (underrated defensive fighter.)
Vicente Saldivar (I wish I new even more about this guy.)

    Puerto Rican:
Wilfredo Benitez (Fought the best, and fared VERY well, at a YOUNG age, underrated overall.)
Felix Trinidad (Great puncher who could change the night with a punch.)
Wilfredo Gomez (Great champion, a lot of defences and a fun fighter to watch.)
Edwin Rosario (Also underrated, was robbed against Camacho and had a very young, impressive start. Fun fighter. HARD puncher.)
Carlos Ortiz (Perhaps the best OVERALL Puerto Rican fighter, ever.)
Esteban DeJesus (First guy to beat Roberto Duran, and he had a VERY solid career.)
Hector Camacho (Solid fighter, good at a lot of things. Brought a lot of showmanship to boxing.)

    Cuban:
Kid Gavilan (Beat so many great/really good fighters. In over 140 fights, he won close to 110 of them, he had less then 30 stoppage wins, and was never stopped himself. Talk about a master.)
Teofilo Stevenson (Perhaps one of the best to neve rturn professional.)
Jose Napolas (Remained quite productive with a close to two decade career.)
Sgar Ramos (I wish I new more about this fighter. From what I've seen, he's a great fighter.)
Benny Paret (Tragic end to a very solid fighters career and life.)
Joel Casamayor (Not retired yet, but he's done his bid. One of my favorite Cuban fighters, ever.)

I can think of a lot of other fighters not from the big three I mentioned..

Roberto Duran, Alexis Arguello, Carlos Monzon, Eder Jofre..

Anyway, what are your lists, or your top fighter out of them all?

The only active fighter I listed was Casamayor. And that's because he's done and he just doesn't know it.

Once Marquez retires, I'll gladly add him to the list. I'm a big fan.
