that's what Im saying, is there an advantage the day before the fight ?

It depends. It can be a real edge if one guy goes in there weighing considerably more than the other. Especially if they fight in a style where it can really matter. It sort of defeats the purpose of weight divisions if fighters are in actuality, a couple divisions apart once they're in the ring.

But sometimes a fighter can be sluggish at the same time if he puts on too much weight.
