Chris Eubank vs Robin Reid 1997???

Robin reid was at the calzaghe v eubank fight in 97. But after the fight there were rumours that reid could take on eubank. How would this fight have gone in 97. Eubank was still a force not like the old eubank tho. Reid was WBC champ but was abit inconsistant. How do you have it?

Super middleweight was too light for Eubank in 1997. He only had a few days to boil down from light heavyweight for Calzaghe........and he did look a little weak and spindly that night, despite his excellent effort.

At super middleweight it would be wise to favour 1997 Reid by decision.

I personally think that in 1997 Eubank could have been quite a force at light heavyweight or cruiserweight though.

Against Carl Thompson in 1998, Chris looked better than he had since the Wharton fight in 1994.
