  • Kenny Anderson Accused Of Tempted Murder

    Boxer accused of attempted murder
A boxing champion has appeared in court charged with attempting to murder a man in Edinburgh.

Commonwealth Games gold medallist Kenny Anderson, 26, appeared in private from custody at Edinburgh Sheriff Court accused of attacking David Togher.

Mr Anderson is alleged to have repeatedly punched Mr Togher on the head, and to have repeatedly struck him with a hammer in Hay Drive on 23 June.

He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

The case was continued for further examination.

Mr Anderson, from Edinburgh, is the reigning Commonwealth Games light heavyweight champion after winning gold at the Melbourne games in 2006.

He turned professional following his amateur success

Dosent look good for kenny, he was one of our top prospects as well, ffs

not entering a plea is a bad sign. He must be looking for a better deal to plead guilty than he was offered, otherwise, why not say not guilty?

Shocker of a story . He's probably made no plea because there's maybe an excuse or something , maybe provoked or something or under the influence and didnt know what he was doing.Other than that probably would have pleaded not guilty. Its hard to understand alot of the cases today because there's alot of corruption and **** everywhere
