  • EVERY fighter have the responsiblity to move up in search of further challenges!!!

Gennady and Ward BOTH have the responsibility of moving up in search of further challenges because both no longer got legitimate fights to be made.

It's simply a matter of who do it first. GGG SHOULD have to move to 168 and fight Ward/Froch/Groves and a bunch of others. Because there is no longer any meaningful fights at MW. Simply because the remaining MW'S refuse to go against him. Ward also have the responsibility of moving up to LHW because there are simply no one good enough left at SMW.

Sergei is in a different situation(fairly or unfairly) because he is a LHW and the jump to CW is a lot more difficult than the jump from 160-168/168-175.

In other words. It is far more fair of a fight when a 175 Ward clashes against a 175 Sergei compared to a 195 Sergei vs some 210 6'4 Yoan Pablo Hernandez.

Well Ward isn't fighting so he can't move anywhere.

Golovkin will likely have a unification fight v Korobov should he beat Murray. N'Dam will have a crack at the IBF soon, so that's another potential unification fight. After that, the WBC might be freed up if Cotto retires or vacates.

So GGG gets a pass on using that Al Haymon business model that you hate on other fighters for using? Easy fights for easy money lol! Only NSB where hypocricy runs rampant because of race or nationality smh lol! If Golovkin wants to be great he will move up and fight a notable fighter eventually.

GGG said he'd move up once he cleans out his current division.

No they don't, if they are a champion they just need to keep defending against highly rated opponents. No one is ever obligated to move up if they feel comfortable at the weight they are at.

GGG should move up right after he beats up Canelo.

                This is true though.

When Bernard Hopkins was defending his title at 160, for years being ignored, he should have moved up? He would have never fought Trinidad and Oscar, which made him a star.

When Hagler couldn't get a good fight, he should have moved up too? Missing out on Hearns, Duran and Leonard.

Yeah great advice. You should become a personal advisor.
