Why are people getting their panties all up in a bunch over a fight that even if they agreed to, it would still need green light from the promoters? Maybe they agreed to a streetfight in PR, but that's about as much as they do on their own.
I was drooling over the thought of Berto vs Cotto, and now this? Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of positives to this, namely the fact that it would probably outsell Pac vs Marg. But Cotto vs Berto would be epic, not to mention winnable (and probably free).
I was hoping May vs Cotto to happen sometime down the line, but first I envisioned:
Cotto vs Berto, Cotto wins
Maybe another fight
Another payday vs Pac.

Of course if Mayweather ever fought Pacquiao he'd probably retire afterwards; his grandkids would probably be set for life after that fight.
