It's a raging math (algebraic question) in the internet...my answer is 2 and my scientist friend says 2 also but in other forums I've been too, it's a toss up....between 2 and 288...
What's your solution?
The order:
48÷2(9+3)
48÷2(12)
48÷24
2
We can't touch the 48 until we finished the DISTRIBUTIVE MULTIPLICATION on the 2(9+3) or we can make it a different expression and simply followed the MULTIPLICATION first before the DIVISION....
48÷2(9+3)
48÷(18 + 6) (distributive)
48÷24
2
