Looking at it in a purely scientific way, the burden would be on both sides of the argument to provide scientific evidence for both the existence of their God, or the evidence that it doesn't exist, which is impossible in both cases.

Religion can shape a person's logic, such as teaching them what is right and wrong. Religion affects a person's political/social views and has continuously impeded the progress of science.

There are currently 1.6 billion Muslims in the world, however just 2 Nobel prize winners in science (just DNA research) over the span of 30 years. That's over a billion people underachieving, just consuming, wasting space.

The reason being Islam has it's own version of science in it's religious texts, they are receiving a creationist education. Islam's version of science contradicts actual science, and because Islam is considered to be PERFECT, they reason their science is true.

Islam is incredibly manipulative, it says one thing, then does another.

You can't indict a religion by the most insane members though. Does Westboro Baptist Church represent Christians? Look at how none of the wealthy and educated Islamic nations want any refugees...they know these are people less than a century removed from a nomadic lifestyle. It's one thing to have religious zealots, it is another to pretend their idiotic views matter whatsoever.

Westboro types would be considered middle-of-the-road in Islam.

Like really they're just guys who hold up signs saying gays will burn in hell and the USA is an evil empire, but they draw the line at physical terror. About on par "moderate" muslims.

We don't apply the same standards to Christians. They're expected to "know better".

You have to understand who the prophet Muhammad was in order to understand Islam. Terrorists aren't extremists, they're merely practicing the fundamentals of Islam.

Muhammad was a warlord, a slaver, a pedophile, he is not the saint people make him out to be. He was involved in over 40 battles directly or by drawing up plans. He is perceived in such a light because he won, he got to re-write history. The way his followers perceive him is no different than how N. Koreans perceive their dear leaders, or the nazi's hitler.

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ns_of_Muhammad

As you can see he started off as a raider building up his army, then started conquering territories by force. One of the spoils of war was to keep sex slaves:

Quran (33:50) - "O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war..."

I don't wanna get into this, other than.....

Science taught me The Theory of Evolution.....

Despite there not being 1 shred of evidence

All because it was a more " suitable " alternative to religion.

" the missing link "..... is right up there with The Magic Bullet theory.

It would actually be easier to find the magic bullet LMAO

But we have mountains of evidence of both our own species and others that prove evolution, there is no missing link.

                Human evolution:
                http://humanorigins.si.edu/evidence/...ne-interactive

At one point there was a missing link, and evolution was just a theory all the way back in the 1800's when Darwin was alive. Over the past 100 years this theory has been proven true, thus it is now a Scientific Theory which is considered fact and is separate from a regular theory.

The only controversy regarding evolution lies with these religious armchair scientists, they're the same ones that try to bring up the missing link like it's still missing.

These people are very manipulative and have no shame trying to pump out religious propaganda. They'll do everything from photo shopping pictures to making youtube vids, to making fake discoveries.

We have fossilized records of the dinosaurs..... and we have fossilized records/documentation of the earliest man..... and nothing in-between.

If monkey has evolved into man, what the fk is he still doing here ?

There were about 3-4, 4 I think, skeletal remains that were passed off as evolutionary links...... but recent improvements in scientific testing confirmed that skeleton was from the 1800's and was badly affected with arthritis/rheumatism..... wasn't that the peking man one, can't remember now.

If the Theory of Evolution was fact, we would not be having this discussion, because it would be obvious.....

There would be waaaay more fossilized records proving evolution than there would be dinosaur records..... and yet we have nothing..... and we would have no monkeys, because they would have all evolved.

Also, why on earth would a single celled organism need to develop an optic nerve..... let alone anything else?

Waaay too many holes in the evolution theory for me, we would know beyond any doubt if evolution was true.

Not saying I believe in anything else..... god/aliens/whatever..... but I can't roll with that theory it seems way too flawed.

When you say that there is no missing link..... that is impossible.

There must be a " missing link ", or it didn't happen.

And..... forget 1 missing link, there must be millions of missing links if the Theory of Evolution is true.

A monkey did not fall asleep one night, then wake up as the missing link..... and then fall asleep the next night, and wake up as man.....

..... for that theory to be true, evolution would have taken place over thousands, if not millions of years..... there would be thousands of missing links, and millions of fossilized remains proving it...... but, nadda/zero/zip.

We got fossilized records confirming everything that came first (dinosaurs), and yet we have no fossilized records confirming what supposedly came 2nd (mankind's supposed evolutionary chain)..... that **** would be everywhere, in every museum..... there would be thousands/millions of fossilized skeletal remains in various stages of development..... but all we got, is crickets.

The more you investigate evolution the clearer it becomes that it is just a theory supported only by hypothesis..... and if it was true, there would be insurmountable evidence, and we would not be discussing it.
