No, No way Mayweather has enough power to effect HBO and Showtime, companies 10 times as rich as him.
You would think other Goldenboy and Showtime fighters would stand up and say, why are we letting this one guy control our career.

The cold war ends when either promotion company no longer has anything to offer, Arum already has that, now hes looking at forcing guys who have the same trainer in Ruslan and Pacquiao to fight or a possible rematch between Cotto and Pacquiao?? that is crazy and should never even be considered.

And now were looking at Pacquiao Vs Bradley 3, Pac Vs Marquez 5, Marquez Vs Bradley 2.

      It's just getting old

They did not want to commit to a multi-fight deal where Mayweather would be fighting in mismatches. Seems reasonable to me.

And HBO works with 2 Al Haymon fighters - Arreola and Edwin Rodriguez.
HBO has said they are not working with Haymon fighters anymore. Yes, the Berto deal was a mistake. Floyd is the biggest draw in the sport.

When HBO fires Herschman and Bob leaves the sport the cold war will end. They are the ones responsible as they made the decisions that directly led to fights not happening.

When Mayweather retires he and Ellerbe will try to go big in the promoting business. Forget about TR vs GBP.

I mean it's obvious Ellerbe loves being called CEO.

The cold war has been going on longer than 2 years.

Herschman didnt start it. And its really naive to put the blame on one side. That is the kind of thinking that perpetuates the cold war.

They were the stupid ones for signing the Berto deal, it was clear that his hand had been held for quite too long, they shouldn't have invested anything into him until he had proven himself against worthy opposition.

Mayweather deal is not the same.

Agree. In my 1st post I posted a link to Dan Rafael's opinion on who started it.

Herschman contributed to where we are now. He made the decisions I posted. He deserves to be held accountable.

No individual opinion perpetuates the cold war. What does perpetate it is Herschman ****ing up the stevenson/Kovalev situation, publicly blaming al haymon, getting fans to co sign, only to have the truth come out.

You yourself have made reference to what you call "network fanboys" numerous times.
