You accidentally put James Toney in as the second best fighter of all time. I assume you meant to put perhaps a "9" or "10" in front of that "2".....that's cool.

These type of lists are so impossible..i mean everyone has a differnet rating scale , its so subjective. Any list could probably be justified. All i know is Sugar Ray Robinson, Harry Greb, Roberto Duran, Gene Tunney and Willie Pep are somewhere in my Top 10

        I'll give it a try;

        1.Robinson
        2.Greb
        3.Langford
        4.Charles
        5.Armstrong
        6.B.Leonard
        7.Fitzsimmons
        8.Duran
        9.Moore
        10.Mclarnin
        11.Pep
        12.Walker
        13.Gans
        14.Tunney
        15.R.Leonard
        16.Ross
        17.Louis
        18.Ali
        19.Canzoneri
        20.C.Ortiz

Ask me this tommorow I would change 11-20 around and even swap plenty. I have my 10 pretty set, though.

The likes of Gavilan, Arguello, Whitaker, Monzon, Burley and a list of others could easily be included.

Michael Spinks and Bob Foster would make my list.....completely dominant and long-reigning light heavyweight champions who only fell short when taking on world class heavyweights.

Foster in particular gets a nod for just how long as he was at the top and fighting and winning in some tough places. Sadly, Spinks will always be remembered for 'that fight' but his record up until that point was truly exceptional IMO.

I see Fitz so no it isn't "old time" bias, I'm just curious why no Langford, Greb or Charles?

Lol'd really hard at this post.

Surprised no mention of Charley Burley. He has a great fundamental game and good resume to boot. I think he reaches top 20 all time, but I am bias.
