I know its 2nd ranked after a free tool called 7zip, but I tried zip and I hate how everything looks in it. The program looks sloppy looking and .7zip files are suppose to be the best compression for files. You can generally lose like 2-10 megs on files you compress. I also think Winrar compresses faster overall even if its only by a couple minutes like 5-10 mins.

I never tried 7zip, but I like winrar. I have been using the trial version for many years(lol). I like that it opens ISO files so I can extract the VIDEO_TS file.
Though it doesn't compress, I prefer hj-split to split most files though.Comment
