Nonito Donaire wants a chance to avenge his knockout loss to Nicholas Walters.

“The Filipino Flash” just won’t do something he considers foolish, like chase Walters to 130 pounds, to make it happen. The 33-year-old Donaire’s third fight since Walters knocked him out nearly 14 months ago is scheduled for Friday night at Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Donaire (35-3, 23 KOs) will meet Mexico’s Cesar Juarez (17-3, 13 KOs) in a 12-round fight truTV will televise as part of a telecast set to begin at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Donaire gave it everything against Walters and got beat down. I find it hard to imagine a different outcome, even if Walters could make 126.

Hopefully we'll see Donaire vs. Loma in 2016!

Man Donaire has a ton of balls. Boxing could use more guys like him.

Walters got wobbled pretty hard by Donaire. I wouldnt say that Nonito has 0% chances in rematch.

You mean the fighter who refused a rematch with Rigo at 122, but at the same time demands a Walters rematch at 122.

Man, forget Walters, bring on Donaire-Loma, that's an excellent match-up.

The fact is that Donaire has one punch... and his power isn't all that great moving up in weight... Loma will walk through Donaire and just outwork him easily over 12 rounds..Walters would be the same result...

Donaire is better off facing someone else at 122 other than Rigo who will just avoid his left hook and run and hug..

It's a shame how many folks kicked Donaire when he was down. These were the same folks that were riding his jock hard while he was on top. I've said it before, Donaire can beat Walters. Let's not forget that Nonito had him in serious trouble early. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to finish him off and the tides turned. Hope this rematch comes to fruition and we get to see The Flash get redemption. Then we'll see the bandwagoners jump back on.
