  • Amir Khan Enters Boxrec Top 10 Pound For Pound.. Is Khan The Best at 140?

Khan enters the top ten Boxrec pound for pound list, claiming 9th place, following his victory over Zab Judah. Surprisingly, and perhaps indicative of the subjective nature of such lists, Timothy Bradley is listed as number 7 on the same list, 2 places ahead of Khan.

Bradley beat 3 undefeated fighters who were consider semi-threats.

      Bradley's resume:

      Alexander
      Abregu
      Peterson
Campbell*he was whooping Campbell before head-clash
      Holt
      Witter
      Vazquez

With that said, Bradley has an excellent 140 pound resume but the problem is he does not match up well at all against Khan. Can't be undefeated forever, so I guess he might aswell just man up if he is gonna lose.

The Abregu fight was at Welterweight so completely disregard that if we're talking about who is the best JWW.

The bottom line is that 2010 and 2011 thus far Tim Bradley has had only 1 fight at 140lbs, which was his win over Devon Alexander. Khan however has had 4 fights against top-10 opposition.

Alexander was coming off the back of a defeat to Kotelnik and shouldn't have even been as highly as he was. All of Khan's opponents were coming off the back of wins and were top-10 ranked opponents.

I think Khan is now the number one fighter at 140. Hopefully we get the Bradley fight next.
