Seems like people are more concerned with eating parasite riddled, cancer causing overpriced organic food and blaming science for their bad genes that see humanity advance and actually achieve something!!

Most people are more interested in enjoying alcohol, sex, consumer society or whatever instead of challenching themselves to achive something, our elected leaders are thoose who focus on giving us more of that stuff and its also what the media promotes, enjoying life, not overcoming difficulites.

It would be suprising if a society based on this attitude could produce something else... Maybe its up to china to take the lead, they still have visions.
