    He was one exceptionally talented boxer, what he lacks is the balls though. You can clearly see in the Froch fight that he could've won it, if he didn't try to escape fighting all night. WHEN he stood his ground (which was f****** two times or smt) he showed tremendous skill. But skills without confidence is just not enough in boxing.

            If he gets his career in order and starts fighting regularly again he is a threat to beat anyone. I'm intrigued by Chris Byrd training him now, their styles were similar in a lot of ways.

              It's because Andre Ward is around. Dirrell lacks the heart and ambition to be a great fighter.

                No, he signed with 50, and 50 was getting him fights. Dirrell refused to fight for under a certain amount of money.

                50 even went on instagram and asked other promoters to take Dirrell of his hands because he valued himself too high, and refused to fight for under a certain amount of cash.
