virtually all of your favorite modern athletes have built up their bodies in a weight room.

I don't think of this as a bodybuilder...
this to me means bodybuilder...
of course a guy who trains with weights will have more muscle and be stronger and it will help in a fight...but a real bodybuilder's body (and I took the title of this thread literally) will not help him fight unless it's against someone with no fighting skills.
