Floyd didn't fight Margarito, Cotto, Tszyu, Casamayor....because alot of unfortunate event's just happen to prevent the fights from happening. Them actually being good had nothing to do with it.

but nothing prevented the Gatti, Brusless, Ndou, Sosa and Baldomir fights from happening everything went juuuuuust right.

Not reading through all the posts, he ducked Manny Pacquiao, Prime Miguel Cotto, Margarito, and you could make a case for PWill and Prime Mosley and a few others

His biggest duck was of course Pacquiao, no one denies that. For some reason some people can't see that making ridiculous demands for a fight equates to not actually wanting the fight. Floyd only fights guys when a weakness starts to show, he never fights anyone when they are at 100% on the up. His fights only ever look good to the casual fans on paper.

          Floyd ducked the following fighters:

          Ducked in the Past:
Miguel Cotto when he was in his prime.
Pacquiao while he was in his prime. (Whats it been, 4 or 5 years of ducking now?)
Shane Mosley after Margarito (Made him wait almost 2 years)
          Kostya Tzyu
Casamayor (he was as big a part of 135 as Corralles or Castillo, but he could box)

          Actively Ducking:
          Canelo
          Martinez

***** Moves (Barely above a duck, and some times active part of ducking):
Catch weight with Marquez and not attempting to make the weight.
Moving Hatton up to 147 and fighting him instead of Cotto.
Fighting Guerrero after he just moved up from 135.
Not fighting Judah at 140. (not a duck, but almost)

          Legitimate Accomplishments:
Decisively beating Castillo in the rematch.
          Dominant victory of Coralles.
Moving up to 154 to beat Oscar (even though it was close)

The wins over Castillo and Coralles are the only wins he has over prime A level fighters at their best weight, which is sad.

He has made a career out of avoiding fights with fighters in their prime, moving them up to weight classes they don't perform well at, and cherry picking fighters on the decline.

All this despite the obvious talent he has. Its really sad. People accused Roy Jones of doing the same thing, but many of the fighters he fought were on the rise, and went on to become notable fighters. Floyd takes fighter who once were notable fighter, but are clearly diminished, and moves them up in weight and fights them.

He could have put together an all time great resume in the era he was in.

          He could have fought:
Kostya Tzyu, one of the greatest 140lb fighters ever.
Miguel Cotto at his absolute peak.
Manny Pacquiao at the height of his run (Although obviously above his best weight)
Casamayor near his peak. (Making him part of the fab4 of 135)
Acelino Freitas (who was a wrecking Machine)
Judah (before he was exposed several times for mental weakness)
Shane Mosley when he was still a force.

I still love him as a technician, hate him as a person, and as a risk averse fighter.
