Floyd Mayweather, Jr. will plead guilty to resolve a couple of his current criminal charges, as reported by the Las Vegas Review Journal.
Upon Mayweather's admission of guilt for his part in an alleged domestic violence incident involving his ex-girlfriend and mother of his three children Josie Harris and another alleged charge of battery on a security guard, the undefeated boxer and Las Vegas resident could serve as little as 2 days up to 18 months in prison, and pay up to $3,000 in fines, after facing up to 34 years behind bars.

So on to the next question:
Is Manny Pacquiao next in Mayweather's list of things to straighten out, or will he duck him as well?
The conclusion of Mayweather's major legal woes will be vital in making the Mayweather-Pacquiao superfight boxing fans have been clamoring for according to Top Rank chief Bob Arum. In a report by the LA Times, Arum is exploring the idea of putting the fight at a new 45,000-seat venue at the Las Vegas strip, which he according to the octogenarian can be completed around June.
Mayweather and his camp had made it known to the media that they are planning his next fight for May 5th, in time for the Cinco de Mayo festivities. Names that have been floated for the date aside from Pacquiao include Saul Alvarez, Erik Morales and Robert Guerrero.

Mayweather may have ducked felony charges by copping a plea bargain, but what boxing fans are truly concerned about is whether he will continue to duck the man who took his pound-for-pound crown away from him and ran away with this era's Fighter of the Decade award.
Pacquiao recently proclaimed that he is now willing to take less money and that there won't be any problems with drug testing to help get a fight with Mayweather done. Mayweather stills does have a ongoing defamation suit filed against him by Pacquiao after making several comments against the Filipino boxing phenom in relation to performance enhancing drugs.
