George Dodd, the executive director of the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC), has stepped down with his resignation effective July 31, according to a report by the Los Angeles Times.
In June, the CSAC censured Dodd for his mismanagement of the athletic commission fund, which as of last month was $35,000 over budget and was on pace to finish at $1.9 million—a figure exceeding the expected $1.2 million in revenue.
