If Haye beat both Klitschkos is he one of the greatest?

No. It'd be a huge achievement but his inactivity and refusal to fight his fellow contenders count against him.
I say that as a Haye fan.

Beating both Klitschko brothers would show that Haye belongs at heavyweight but not that he is anywhere near one of the greatest. Wlad has a bad chin and has been KO:d several times before and Vitali is forty years old and has slowed down. If Haye someway managed to KO Wlad and then outbox an old Vitali it wouldn't mean he is a great heavyweight, it would just mean that he is a legit heavyweight champion and not just a guy that beat Valuev for a phoney belt.

If Haye beats both he moves ahead of the Klitschko's P4P all time, much better than just HW anyway.

An even better question is he the best heavyweight of alltime if he decapitates both Klitschko's as he depicted in the shirts... he's number one if he does that... an even better question is what if Holyfield knocked out both brother's in succession & become undisputed at 50 years of age.. does he automatically become the best heavyweight of alltime... i say yes to both scenarios... & the fact that most would say Haye is more likely to decapitate the bros than for Evander to become undisputed again makes it that much more improbable & justifiable. I've given two legit scenarios however highly improbable & miraculous but would warrant best ever status.. Holyfield's done enough already to warrant top 10 status.. being the oldest champion in sports history & knocking out both bros at there most invincible & becomeing undisputed again when practically the entire boxing world wanted him to stop fighting is an automatic GOAT & ofcourse HAYE ending both Klitschko's by beheading both in succession is an automatic GOAT as well... food for thought.

But with those physical disadvantages for Haye to end the era of Klitschko dominance... is that unique situation enough to take Haye to somewhere near the heavyweight greats? if you know what i mean..
There's the real question.
Haye has zero chance to beat Vitali.
FORGET IT.

Btw.... no ONE has EVER BEATEN both bro's... let alone in succession so let's STOP making it out to be some small feat if it occurred... whomever does this when both are at there absolute dominance & haven't LOST MORE than a handful of rds combined in the past 6 or 7 years & been unbeaten in the span. Let's remember.. they've had 101 fights combined & NEVER have been outboxed for more than 2 rds at a time. Wlad VS sANDERS & vITALI VS Lewis are the ONLY times a fighter has taken rds consecutively from them..... that my friends is total destruction & dominance. The brothers between them have Ko'ed nearly 90% of the entire competition they've faced & have won 90% of all the rds collectively that they've fought.. THERE'S NO DOMINANCE ANYWHERE IN BOXING HISTORY THAT COMES CLOSE TO THIS & THEN WE WONDER WHY THERE'S JEALOUSY OF THE KLITSCHKO'S.. GIVE HOPKINS & THE MAYWEATHERS & OFCOURSE LIL' PACKMAN ALL THE CREDIT IN THE WORLD BUT IF YOU REALLY WANT UTTER DESTRUCTION OF THE BOXING BIBLE & HISTORY BOOKS.. YOU'LL HAVE TO TAKE A FIRST CLASS TRIP TO THE UKRAINE AS THAT'S WHERE IT REALLY RESIDES.... PROPAGANDA IS FINE & DANDY & SO ARE POPULARITY CONTESTS BUT WHAT YOU DO IN THE SQUARED CIRCLE AGAINST YOUR OPPONENTS IS THE ULTIMATE TALE OF THE TAPE.. ... THE BROTHER'S KO ARE THE MOST DOMINANT FIGHTERS OF ALLTIME BAR NONE.... KAPISH!

More Klitschko facts that you may not have known.. A Klitschko fight on the average ends in approximately 5 rds. A kLItschko stoppage is about 4.5 rds. The brothers have failed to score a KO ONLY 14 times in their illustrious careers. They've only been taken the distance 7 or 8 times tops in 101 fights. They've been KO'ed themselves 5 times but won you guessed it 90% of the rds collectively of the fights they've lost.. same percentage coincidentially when they've won there fights... this is because they were dominating 4 of the 5 fights they lost due to stamina & physical injuries & there one legit loss only took 2 rds. Only been outpunched or outlanded in a fight once in 101 fights & that was for a 2 rd fight...& this was the ONLY fight they ever were losing at the end of the fights conclusion. There winning % is 95 percent... KO % is 86%.. scorecard ratio is more than 90%.
