To give some examples of some of my own, I once had so-called "squirming octopus" in Korea.
It is really good, by the way. How ever, you have to chew it very well, or you might choke to death.
I often eat horse sashimi (raw horse meat) when I go out to izakaya (Japanese bars).
Oh yeah, and needless to say I have enjoyed wale meat from time to time.
And I had the pleasure of eating raw chicken once too (it was seared on the outside).
There is also a soup I always eat when I go to have sushi, called arajiru. 'jiru' means soup, however 'ara' means the left over bony and heady parts of a fish after the meat's been cut off, the remaining carcass more or less. So when you eat this soup, you never know what you will get. Whether it's just normal meat and bones, or whether you get a tuna eye or two. Good times.
