To get to the champions league final and to win it take much more than luck..........

They dominated the 1st half, Chelsea were better 2nd half. United dominated Extra Time and Penalties.
      Viva John Terry!
Cheslea outplayed United. Especially in the second half and in extra times. United only real threat at goal was Ronaldo and he was against Essien. Hence, why he done well ducking Ashley Cole.

Agreed, but clearly United was lucky in both occasions they won it under Ferguson.

Flawless has a point, you'd expect Ferguson to have done better in Europe given how long he's been there, Fergis has said it himself. However, he goes too far in saying he was lucky to win it twice, you make your own luck and Fergie has enough trophies to suggest another two was no accident.

In the final yeah perhaps, but to get to be in that position they beat many decent teams...........

United cant play Away from Home in CL. Ac Milan this year was remarkable. But they find it tough traveling long distances

                      .

**** thread.... Ferguson is probably the atg manager mourinho is catching up and will replace him but ferguson is still one of the top managers of all time

they have had bad luck in the cl too met an amazing Madrid side a few times and if they usually go out it's to the winners or finalists
