Thats because there were great american fighters at the time and the soviets didnt want their men humiliated by the enemy as they surely would have

American big men have gone soft. That's the truth.

Eastern Europeans are stronger, hungrier, tougher and more determined than you Americans.

Soviet fighters weren't allowed to turn pro until the 1990s because of the cold war.

Now Soviets are allowed to turn pro and they're ALREADY DOMINATING.

And there are tons of potential Eastern European Heavyweight Boxers who are doing Combat Sambo, MMA, Kickboxing, Hockey, Olympic Wrestling, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Worlds Strongest Man Competitions, etc.

America isn't the only country on the planet that has other sports you ignorant racist piece of ****.

Americans are ALWAYS getting owned by Eastern Europeans.

The Klitschkos have destroyed all of the best American heavyweights.

Eastern Europeans already dominate the higher weight classes and are now taking over the lower weight classes too.

How does that make you feel?

I was born in the soviet union and it collapsed in 1991. The 90s were one of the biggest time in HW history.

Thing is you look at the American HW and they arent immpresive at all. Then you look at almost all the Europeon HW and they arent immpresive either.

The decline of the American HW has risen up the Euro HW.

The Europeons didnt get WAY better, the Americans got WAY worse.

Take in account im from the Ukraine and the Klitsare my favorite fighters, so im not bashing them

                Thats not true at all

yes you have heavyweight, as there are no good americans in that division, but we still rule boxing.

Devon Alexander, Tim Bradley, Floyd Mayweather, Andre Ward, Andre Dirrell, Andre Berto, Victor Ortiz, Chad Dawson, Tavoris Cloud.

Also your guys better watch out because we have a heavyweight coming through who will ko them both, his name is Deontay Wilder

The sad truth is they are only dominant because Americans dont care about boxing no more
So Lebron James would be as good a boxer as he is a basketball player.
