So you disagree and think that Obama is friendlier and less hostile to the Free Market then Romney? And that "fair share", "lets raise taxes on 250k and above", "deficit spend to invest in education, masturbation, fornication and infrastructure" in no way gets in the way of it all.

Tell me again, which party is closer or has members that are Pro-Gold Standard, which you claim to be in favor of if I'm not mistaken (correct?). This is rhetorical. The Democrats have none. The Republicans....there are some. I suspect there are many more in favor of it...in secret...but are afraid to come out and be branded 'far-right'.

But I suspect your favoring of the Gold Standard is purely academic. In practice, you're a Paul Krugman type, Federal Reserve- policy-to help the economy-supporting Liberal.

Above the Left-Right fray during Election off-season, Far-Left during Election year.

I have Gary Johnson in 3rd place. Unless you live in a battleground state or proportional state, this election is over you. I live in a Blue State, so no matter how I vote, Obama is getting my state's electoral votes. The only way your vote matters is if you vote for Gary Johnson and he gets 5% of the popular vote. If that happens, we will have a major 3rd party candidate in the next election.

If he wins Florida which Romney needs it will be an early night. Don't think Romney can take Ohio because of the auto bailout. If Obama loses Ohio (no Republican has won an election without winning this state in a very long time), he could win with Virginia and a state like Iowa.

another thing to consider is the unemployment rate in these battle ground states:
              National 7.8%
              Ohio 7%
              Florida 8.7%
              Iowa 5.2%
              Virginia 5.9%
              New Hampshire 5.7%

If Obama wins the 3 states at 5% he does not need Ohio and can still win.

you have no idea how appreciative of this post I am. i really don't get how the US system works. and that cleared up some of it.

Florida is going to be close maybe the endorsement of Charlie Crist helps him take it.
