Making signatures for points and gifts

I have a badass Michael Jennings one but I can't seem to get it to work. Someone refresh my memory. I saved it to my desktop, went to tiny pic and uploaded it. I have tried both thumbnail and avatar options but after I upload it and put the link into the boxingscene sig it keeps saying the image is too big. What am I doing wrong?
