calzaghe was an absolute nobody in terms of worldwide boxing appeal. he was a euro champ who was fighting nothing but bums. nobody took him seriously. he was the sebastian sylvester of the 90s and early 2000's.

calzaghe and jones weren't even in the same division. it's easy to call someone out when they aren't even in your division and you know the fight will never be made. it's a way to get more publicity for yourself.

At the turn of the century Roid Jones Juicer was the most duckingest ducker in the sport of boxing. Many decent fighters including B-hop was calling him out, but Roid chose to fight janitors, taxi drivers, divorce attourneys and plumbers.
