The reason apple wants HTML5 is because it simply blows with Flash. The reason macs blow with Flash is because Apple refuses to let outside sources have enough of it's code to actually streamline it and make it better.

Apple is just another Microsoft, blowhards looking for complete control. At least with the PC industry, it is wide open and allows competition. That is why these apple minions happily pay twice as much for a Macintosh, because they allow Apple to monopolize the hardware along with the software.

Apple won't allow Adobe the same access they have with windoze because it's a security nightmare. Adobe are just too lazy to create code that works without jeopardising the OS.
