  • Comments Thread For: Gavin Issued Suspended Jail Sentence For Bar Attack

Birmingham welterweight Frankie Gavin has been handed a suspended jail sentence after admitting his role in a family holiday bar attack.

The 30-year-old southpaw was given a five-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, after he threw a broken bottle at a man, broke a bar stool on another man’s head and punched a doorman as violence erupted at the Krackers Bar in Brean, Somerset.

The incident - which took place just days after Gavin’s defeat at the hands of Kell Brook in their IBF world title fight at London’s O2 Arena - was witnessed by Gavin’s two young children. [Click Here To Read More]

    Funtime Frankie

A pity he didn't show that much fight against Brook

Nearly all of Brook's opponents are drunken bums with a passion for a pint so this is hardly surprising

Classy, scrapping with his Chav family in front of his kids.

Apparently the doorman later described the punch he had received from Frankie as, 'Relaxing, sort of ticklish'

Does a suspended sentence affect your Visa of you want to go to the US?

Didn't initially get involved. We should praise his restraint. Even if he ended up throwing a bottle, breaking a stool over someone's head and punching a bouncer.

The man just had a nice day out with the family, went to the beach, had an ice-cream, fish and chips by the sea. Later he had a nightcap which was only ended due to a two minute spell of extreme violence.

Green K because that made me laugh my head off. What an arsehole Gavin is though, shame he didn't get sent down.

£75 compensation to each of the victims, they might aswell have fought back! frankie thinks he's big time he's just british level, get over yourself. The victims should get a civil case they could get a lot more than that for 'emotional distress' time off etc.
