Now I could get some serious heat for this If Brady Quinn steps in at half time during Sundays Browns/ Bengals game but hell I'll go for it and explain why I'm playing Derek this week at QB...
There is no mystery that Anderson's job is on the line. Coach Crennell basically has come out and said Brady Quinn will be ready if things go south, so with that said I think it will light a fire under Anderson's ass. I want people on my team who are motivated and have something to prove. I'd like to give a QB who made the Pro Bowl last year and helped move along Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards some sort of shot. If Anderson rises to the occassion and earns back his starting job my call to play him this week will pay off. If he rides the bench and gives Brady a chance.. I'll just have wasted 10 minutes of my life writing this and one crucial fantasy loss away from a season in the gutter.
