Chavez jr is no longer a PPV draw. He did good numbers when he was undefeated against the Argentinian MW champ in Martinez.

People now know Chavez sucks, especially after the Vera fight. His Mexican fanbase has moved on.

Chavez vs Andre Ward would do about 75,000.

The biggest PPV draw would be Stevenson, on Canadian PPV. Ward would be the B side though

HBO needs to get the hype train rolling with either Kovalev or Stevenson like they're doing with GGG.

I'm sure they will as HBO doesn't have the luxury now to pick and choose who they want to hype up. With Mayweather and Golden Boy's departure, they're pretty much looking for anybody making noise and targeting "action fighters," both fighters fit that bill. The thing is that both fighters have barely hit the scene in terms of having big wins, we'll see what 2014 holds for them. Though I don't think either guy has that "IT" factor that GGG has.

Ward should fight winner of a kovalev v. stevenson fight late next year after beating froch a 2nd time. That could be an excellent PPV.

Still Jr surely? They're bound to find him an opponent he can beat at some point and that might get the buzz back again.

Can't see him being put in with Ward though. Not unless he takes some big scalps first. Winner of Kovalev/Stevenson or GGG is Ward's best bet for now. Froch has a better chance of getting Jr.

But this is a business and if we're talking about him maximizing his earnings then we can't blame him for pursuing that fight.

It will probably happen too if he signs with Top Rank.

him vs hopkins, ward, ggg, froch, stevenson, kovolev would all be hugely hyped
