Financially, it's the fight that makes the most sense in boxing right now. Why isn't Vitali stepping up to the plate? Bonte obviously has a hand in this.

And now the proposal can't even be entertained for x...y...z (YAWN)

Vitali needs to step up his pimp hand because he's looking weak right about now.
So if a promoter said "my fighter is willing to fight a man 200 lbs heavier than he is. Furthermore, he is willing to allow his opponent to wear knucklebusters instead of gloves". Would the fighter promoted by this idiot have to go through with it just because his promoter said so?

Haye is the one calling out a 41-year-old for a fight when there are 2 heavyweights in their 20s in his own backyard he refuses to fight. If anyone is looking weak here, it ain't Vitali.

This would make sense if you're of the opinion that the two HW's in their 20's are actually better than Vitali. Because if not, then age doesn't really matter.

He isn't just calling out a 41-year-old, though, is he? He's calling out the WBC HW Champion of the World.

At this stage Price most certainly is. Fury would be close, but perhaps not quite there.

                    Vitali should just quit.

If politics is his bag now. It will be fun to see other heavyweight come up from out of the shadows and jostle for position. There are a lot of evenly matched heavies out there.

It is bad for boxing if Vitali holds that belt hostage and then defends it against modest fighters like Charr.

vitali is a politician & politicians never lie...fight haye or retire. whatever the result it's a huge farewell event that will pay both handsomely with the potential for there to be a unified champion in 2013.
